According to the New Mexico and California Department of Health and the National Academy of Sciences, 15% of the US population suffers from Chemical Sensitivity. This is an illness of epidemic proportion.

Chemical Sensitivity (CS) occurs when the body reacts to low levels of synthetic chemicals. The symptoms can range from headaches to anaphylactic shock. The reaction to chemicals will alter that person's ability to function in many settings. Common everyday products such as air fresheners, perfume and pesticides make many public and private buildings difficult or impossible to access.

Of the people who have CS there is a subset of those with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS). The spreading phenomenon has occurred in these people. This is when the body reacts to other chemicals and substances that are similar in structure to the original chemical the person was sensitized to. This cascading affect leaves the person with MCS with a constant state of disabling symptoms. With the large number of chemicals and substances people with MCS react to, they generally cannot access public buildings, places of worship and private homes and offices.

This web site is dedicated to help those who suffer with Chemical Sensitivity and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. You will find many free articles on treatments, nutrition, how to reduce chemical exposures, food allergies and other aspects of this difficult illness.
